Dr. Zider is a San Francisco native who finally returned to the Bay Area in 2017. After a lengthy educational stint on the East Coast, where he went to Princeton as an undergraduate and Tufts for medical school, he returned to California in 2010. After residency and a year as a chief resident, he became a pulmonary and critical care fellow at UCLA. Through research and his clinical training he gained additional knowledge and experience in COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension; he is also interested in asthma and lung cancer. He is able to perform bronchoscopy with endobronchial ultrasound.

During his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, photography, and outdoor activities.
